This course is suitable for anyone who is required to use anything deemed as a hazardous substance in their daily working duties.
Course Aims & Objectives
The course covers what hazardous substances are, the forms that hazardous substances can take, the ways that hazardous substances can enter the body, the harmful effects that hazardous substances can have, acute and chronic effects that hazardous substances can cause, identifying hazardous substances, the key legislation, and COSHH risk assessments.
Course Outline
Certification
On completion of the course and successfully passing the required testing, the delegates are awarded a certificate that complies with the recommendations of the Health and Safety commission approved code of practice. It is recommended that this course is refreshed every 3 years.
Location
We can offer courses on your company premises for a maximum of 12 delegates per course.
